Service Corps
Service Corps provides an opportunity for Net Impact members to use their business skills to advance the mission of socially conscious organizations. Service Corps volunteers engage in short-term, part-time consulting projects with nonprofits or social enterprise organizations, completing projects related to marketing, business planning/operations, and strategic planning.

Service Corps Leaders
Net Impact Chicago’s Service Corps initiative is diligently managed to ensure a quality experience for both participating organizations and consultants. Our Service Corps Leaders:
- Diligently match consultants and organization projects
- Host professional development for consultants
- Monitor project milestones
- Evaluate satisfaction of participants’ process and outcome
Time Commitment
- Volunteers commit 10-12 hrs per month for 3 months working on the project
- Organizations appoint a staff Service Corps liaison, supporting consultants as needed
- Without time and dedication, projects will not be valuable for participating consultants or organizations
